We are fighting for the economic and social freedom of all working-class people of the United States. Recent years have seen horrible regressions on women’s and LGBT+ rights. All Americans deserve to be treated with respect, dignity, and autonomy. We will fight for equality, safety, and freedom for all.
WOMEN’S RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS
We will fight to end discrimination against all women, and for better enforcement of protections that are already in place. Particularly, we will fight for those hit hardest, working women/mothers, women of color, indigenous women, and LGBT+ women. Equal pay for equal work, healthcare and reproductive rights, maternity rights, affordable childcare, protections against harassment and gender-based violence.
LGBTQIA+ RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS
We will fight to end discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community. We must end the criminalization of identity, and expand protections, healthcare, and support for those in our community. LGBT+ youth rates of homelessness, incarceration, and substance abuse are all disproportionately high. With incarcerated individuals, of any age, often subjected to horrific abuse.
